He will also provide information about the options you have in terms of the area of the section, the type of inserts and the anesthesia that will be applied during the surgery. What you have to do is to inform your doctor for your general health and any medication you might be taking during that period of time.
 
How long does the surgery last?
 
It usually lasts for up to three hours.
